It was 28F this morning.

I looked out and the birdbath was frozen over.

In five minutes, I watched three birds and a squirrel try to drink out of it.

You all can see this coming, canapos;t you?

So I bundle up in my dadapos;s old hunting shirt and take my little pink bucket of warm water out, break the ice, and add warm water to the bird bath.�

I go in and back to the window and already the squirrel is back and drinking and one of the birds quickly joins him.

So, really, how insane does this make me?

Notes on point-of-view and tense.

1st Person:
Future (tense): "I will..." With luck, it sounds a little hopeful, or perhaps arrogant or supremely confident. Without luck, it sounds like a shopping list.
Present: A little mysterious, as we have no hint of the future, and have a very limited viewpoint.
Past: You always have to be careful with these ones, as this is the tense-POV mix most often used by Unreliable Narrators.

2nd Person:
Future: Either commanding or prophetic. Usually seems prophetic, if used extensively.
Present: This one can go two ways. In text-based games, it sounds like an omniscient fellow is talking to you. Unfortunately, in normal prose it often sounds like your life as related to a creepy stalker.
Past: The trouble with 2nd person is that it tends not to immerse you into the story as much as the other tenses, probably because theyapos;re normally trying to tell you youapos;re something and somewhere youapos;re not. The narrator in this case tends to seem like a mentor, as most people who talk like this in real life are your parents, retelling stories from your childhood.

3rd Person:
Future: Prophetic.
Present: Much like 3rd past, but with an uncertain future.
Past: No matter how restricted this is used, it tends to feel the most expansive.

Itapos;s weird not being in Detroit on the weekends. I miss the weekend loft I had too. Waking up, or not waking up. Being bothered by the neighbor, or ignoring him all weeekend. Smoking pot, or not smoking enough pot.

Anyway.

I ordered sushi for lunch after enjoying some green refreshments. Took a nap too.

I havenapos;t showered yet today, but I only had to run out once. I donapos;t even know if I want to go out, or not. I have my vodka. I really wish I had some cheese or something.

Crap. And I forgot Lee Curtiss was in town. Party is crazy expensive though

Just came home from haji lane. I went out to find a job but when i reach town, its already going 9pm, when all the stores are closed. Met pq, clair, ruth and co at cine, slacked, then to parklane -.- for kai and co, then half of us left parklane for sheesha. Sheesha was great. Its bloooody 7.40am and i canapos;t sleep, iapos;m suppose to sleep and go out later, for jobs hunting again. Itapos;s the 8th week of school and I feel fat and uneducated.

On the plus side I bought my Joker poster and when Iapos;m drunk itapos;s the most satisfying view. Thereapos;s like 6 or so weeks left in this semester and hopefully I donapos;t completely fail out of school. I donapos;t think itapos;s that tragic, but Iapos;m not expecting more than like a 2.0 GPA this semester.

Iapos;m "trying" to find a new job, "trying" because I havenapos;t really applied anywhere else. I just donapos;t enjoy Gap Body.

Joey said we should get an apartment next semester, which I canapos;t afford at all. But of course I will try to make it happen.

But right now I want pizza and cake (yay, im totally losing 10 pounds) I should go to the gym (I havenapos;t worked out in over a week) then study. But I must eat first.

Iapos;m going to Busan this weekend to find some tacky jewerly for my Ugly Betty costume. Iapos;ve been told by so many people that I look like America Fererra so Iapos;m going to dress up as her character for halloween Fun times.

I met this awesome guy who seems to like me but it really sucks that Iapos;m leaving in two and a half months. I really like Korea except for the teaching part
